Background Bridge International for Academic Services has been for
nearly seventeen years exerting all efforts to explore
the Jordanian academic market, from links with Jordanian
universities, student unions, and employees from the
private and governmental sectors to expose the
excellence of the UK universities to the Jordanian
public. Eight of the International Office Exhibitions
that Bridge had already conducted have proved to be very
successful in terms of promoting recruitment and
acquainting the Jordanian's with the prestige of the UK
universities at the UG and PG level. Therefore, Bridge
International has now started preparing for the 14th
International Office Exhibition which will take place in
June 2012.
Objective The main objectives of the Exhibition are to expose the
wide diversity of disciplines, courses and services
within a number of reputable UK universities to the
public and to the educational institutions in Jordan.
This will provide enough information concerning the
entry requirements, fees, length of studies and a
general overview of the cities that are hosting such
universities. In addition, the following will constitute
the main information that the Exhibition would provide
for the Jordanian public:
|
>>The
various UG and PG courses that are offered
within the participating UK universities.
>>The
availability of Distance Learning Programmes at
PhD. level in all available fields, in addition
to promoting the availability of in country
delivery of courses.
>>The
availability of specifically tailored courses,
particularly courses that
incorporate applicability for developing
countries in the private and public sectors in
Jordan.
>>To
provide for the participating UK universities a
venue of students' recruitment and to establish contacts with the Jordanian academic circuit in
order to facilitate for discussions and
negotiations for further cooperation. |
|
This Exhibition will provide an outstanding opportunity
for the highly reputable UK Universities to become
acquainted with the Jordanian educational sector and to
fulfill their needs.
Participating UK Universities This Exhibition will be limited and is specifically
tailored for the UK universities that have cooperation
agreements with Bridge International for Academic
Services.
Timing of the Exhibition The event has been carefully timed in order to cater for
the academic needs of students at all levels. During
this month, most of the UG students who wish to join the
UK universities for foundation year courses and first
year degrees are hoping to settle their decisions at the
right university. Similarly, during this month
most students who wish to pursue their PG education for
September 2012 are encouraged to seek acceptances.
